Imbued with tradition, nature, and local culture, a farm brewery crafts beer from ingredients grown mainly on the farm
Livingstone Brewing sits tucked away on the crest of the Haut-Saint-Laurent’s majestic Covey Hill in Franklin, just Southwest of Montreal and minutes from the American border. The brewery and tasting room are located on the family-owned farm and housed in a centuries-old hand-cut timber-frame barn lovingly converted by Livingstone and his father into a modern facility.
The brewery is equipped with a Blichmann 5-barrel brewing system with 10-barrel fermenters and a double tap beer engine for pulling cask ales. With a diverse selection of up to ten authentic ales brewed with alternative or non-traditional ingredients sourced from the farm or as locally as possible, the tasting room also features non-alcohol options and a view well-worth the excursion to the countryside.
